Panther Creek State Park

Bordered by Clinch Mountain and the Great Smoky Mountains, Morristown’s Panther Creek State Park is on the banks of the Cherokee Lake. Here you can get rejuvenated relaxing or swimming at the pool, or should you feel more energetic, you can go hiking. There is also fishing, a playground, picnic areas, and campsites. Panther Creek is convenient to Cherokee Dam and Lake on the Holston River. Also in Morristown is the Rose Center which has a cultural center, a children’s touch museum, and art gallery and a historical art gallery and museum.
